I have been teaching vocal technique, piano and keyboard skills, theory and ear training for 20+ years. In addition to teaching privately, I have taught at a community college, at girls’ private schools across the GTA and have conducted master classes for university voice majors, a jazz conservatory and at performing art schools in Toronto, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

As an RCM Affiliate instructor I have longstanding experience working within the framework of the Royal Conservatory Voice syllabus whether preparing students for examinations, arts school evaluations or post secondary school auditions. I was a member of the classical music teachers’ organization ORMTA (2006-2014) requiring a successful track record of RCM exam-based students. In addition I have a lot of experience helping pop, jazz and commercial music singers, which includes ear training for improvisers.
