Lara Solnicki has been teaching since she was an undergraduate student, with an average of 25 weekly students since 2006.

Lessons are tailored to each individual, and may include Vocal Technique and Improvisation, Piano, Theory, Ear Training and Musicianship skills. They may include audition preparation for performing arts schools and college/university professional music programs.

She received a BA in 2004 in Classical Voice Performance from The Glenn Gould School/ Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, where she studied in the Performance Diploma and Artist Diploma programs, and classical piano up to grade 10 Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) level. In addition, she has worked extensively both as performer and student with dozens of international classical, jazz and creative music performers and educators, and also worked with speech pathologists, and in the Mitzvah and Alexander physical alignment techniques.

In addition to her busy private studio, she has taught in Centennial College's Music Industry Arts and Performance (MIAP) program, at St. Clements’ School, University of Toronto Schools, The York School, De La Salle College, along with dozens of music schools across the GTA (Greater Toronto Area).

Lara was a member of the Ontario Registered Music Teachers’ Association (ORMTA) from 2006-2014.
